Blackboard re-design. The task was to make Blackboard more student accessible, and to make the website mobile responsive. Studies showed students were more likely to look at their blackboard dashboard from their mobile phone but then abandon due to its functionality. The newly redesigned BlackBoard displays your courses on a weekly schedule, along with recent, relevant announcements published by their teachers. 

Pictured above are low fidelity wireframes developed to establish the website’s information architecture. Based on interviews conducted with students, these headings are are necessary. It was also discovered that there are many announcements that don’t pertain to their classes that are frequently displayed and are distracting. This was taken out completely and replaced with just relevant course announcements.
